New Found Viruses...

I'm really fascinated with computer viruses.... I even have a collection of computer viruses compressed and lock in a separate disk drive... :D
But just a while ago my anti virus is going crazy... a new .js script file is on the loose on my PC.... and my Anti virus cannot find a way to delete it.... the system is saying VIRUS TREAT MALICIOUS FILE DETECTED... so its time for a dig up to the core of the problem.....
I run a full system scan for my PC but after long hours of waiting nothing happen... the virus is still present.... I tried to used different manual ways to find and delete the virus... and I find it..
it is a .js script file that can do many to your PC... it uses IFRAME to do the task.....
and I see this article from a fellow bloger about this new virus attacks...

- Panda Security advises webmasters to check their Web pages, due to a massive hacker attack

Madrid, April 24, 2008 - PandaLabs has reported a vulnerability in Internet Information Server which is allowing a massive hacker attack. This attack currently affects 282,000 Web pages, and this number could
increase drastically.

This security problem allows hackers to inject SQL code in all the pages hosted on a Web server. This code is designed to redirect all visitors at compromised pages to a malicious website which analyzes systems for vulnerabilities that could be used to download all types of threats.

The situation is exacerbated by the fact that most of the web pages affected show no suspicious signs whatsoever and many of them have numerous visitors.

How to detect if a web page has been manipulated:

Panda Security advises all webmasters with pages hosted on Internet Information Server to check as soon as possible if their web pages have been affected. The procedure is simple, as it involves searching for a specific code string in the source code of the web page, associated to an IFRAME tag. This string is:

that the politically related crime is lesser.. wow, they convince me....... The sad thing is no one can tell as of now if we have a clean and fair elections..

In our small town rumors rises it even reaches media...
rumors says that some of the candidates are buying votes just to win.......
money really talks... this news is also tackled by the media local and national....
The sad thing is, media is just a media they don't have power....
COMELEC officials didn't do any actions too....

May 14 2007 Voting day.... Out of the blue, rumor arises....
they say that one of the candidates is preventing some voters to vote...
here's how... early morning some voters is held hostages inside the properties of one of the candidate... They are guarded by the supporters of this candidate....
they have food, drinks, and money... woahhhh!!! vote buying different version....

SAN FRANCISCO - Tourists flock to Fisherman's Wharf for the seafood and the stunning views of San Francisco Bay, but for many visitors, the real stars are the dozens of playful, whiskered sea lions that lounge by the water's edge, gulping down fish. Now a series of sea-lion attacks on people in recent months has led experts to warn that the animals are not as cute and cuddly as they appear.
"People should understand these animals are out there not to attack people or humans. But they're out there to survive for themselves," said Jim Oswald, a spokesman for the Marine Mammal Center across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.
In the most frightening of the recent episodes, a rogue sea lion bit 14 swimmers this month and chased 10 more out of the water at San Francisco's Aquatic Park, a sheltered lagoon near the bay. At least one victim suffered puncture wounds.
Some scientists speculate that the animals' aggressive behavior is being caused by eating fish contaminated by toxic algae, or by a shortage of food off the coast. But wildlife experts say even healthy sea lions are best left alone.
In Southern California in June, a sea lion charged several people on Manhattan Beach and bit a man before waddling into the water and swimming away. In Berkeley, a woman was hospitalized last spring after a sea lion took a chunk out of her leg.
Last year, a group of sea lions took over a Newport Beach marina and caused a vintage 50-foot yacht to capsize when they boarded it. And a lifeguard in Santa Barbara was bitten three times while swimming off El Capitan State Beach.
In Alaska, a huge sea lion jumped onto a fisherman's boat in 2004, knocked him overboard and pulled him underwater; he escaped without serious injury.
Sea lions, which can reach 1,000 pounds, typically bite only if they feel threatened or cornered. And they are more likely to flee than fight if they can escape. Researchers have described the most recent attacks, in which some swimmers were chased through open water, as abnormal behavior.
Still, with a population numbering about 200,000 and growing, these playful, social creatures are increasingly likely to cross paths with humans.
Sea lions accustomed to the easy pickings of seafood scraps in popular fishing areas can become aggressive toward people if they fear their food is about to be taken away, Oswald said.
The Berkeley attack, for example, was at a marina where fishermen dock their boats and feed fish scraps to sea lions. After they ran out of scraps, the sea lion turned aggressive and bit a crew member.
At the same time, a drop in fish stocks off the Southern California coast due to El Nino-like conditions could be driving more hungry sea lions than usual to San Francisco Bay, said Lynn Cullivan, a spokesman for San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
Humans could also be contributing to aggression in sea lions in another way: Toxic algae blooms fed by agricultural runoff and other pollution can lead to the poisoning of marine mammals by a chemical called domoic acid, which can cause brain damage. The Marine Mammal Center treated more than 200 sea lions for domoic acid poisoning last year.
Veterinarians at the center believe the brain damage caused by the poison could have led to the marauding animal's erratic behavior in Aquatic Park, Oswald said, though they cannot be sure without actually examining the sea lion.
So far park rangers have not been able to track the attacker down. Nevertheless, the lagoon where the attacks occurred has been reopened to swimmers, though with new signs warning people to stay away from sea lions.
"People who swim with the lions — though I'm sure that's nice — it's probably not the best thing to do," Oswald said. "It's a wild animal. And you want to keep them wild."

Plyometrics is the activity of rapid alternation of lengthening and shortening of specific muscle groups while resistance is continuously being applied to them. This lengthening and shortening cycle when performed in rapid succession allows the muscles to store some of the lost energy in the lengthening phase for use during the contraction phase.
The faster your muscles can perform this lengthening, shortening with resistance cycle, the more powerful your movements become. Strength + Minimal Time Factor = Power. That’s the science of Plyometrics.
I could go into the scientific jargon of concentric and eccentric muscle contraction, but you’ll probably become as confused as I was as to which is which.

Trichotillomania (TTM) is an impulse disorder that causes people to pull out the hair from their scalp, eyelashes, eyebrows, or other parts of the body, resulting in noticeable bald patches. It is currently defined as an impulse-control disorder, but there are still questions about how it should be classified. It may seem, at times, to resemble a habit, an addiction, a tic disorder or an obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is estimated to affect one to two percent of the population, or four to eleven million Americans. Who Gets Trichotillomania?TTM seems to strike most frequently in the pre- or early adolescent years. The typical first-time hair puller is 12 years old, although TTM has affected people as young as one and as old as seventy. It is thought that ninety percent of those with TTM are women, but research is inconclusive and it may simply be the case that men are less likely to seek treatment and can more easily hide their symptoms. A form of TTM that affects very young children appears to occur in males and females at an equal rate and seems to be more benign in nature. How Do I Know If I Have Trichotillomania? Although the symptoms range greatly in severity, location on the body, and response to treatment, most people with TTM pull enough hair over a long enough period of time that they have bald spots on their heads (or missing eyelashes, eyebrows, pubic, or underarm hair), which they go to great lengths to cover with hairstyles, scarves or clothing, or makeup. The persistence of the compulsion can vary considerably: For some people, at some times, it is mild and can be quelled with a bit of extra awareness and concentration. For others, at times, the urge may be so strong that it makes thinking of anything else nearly impossible. Why Doesn't Anyone Seem to Know about Trichotillomania?TTM did not appear in the popular media in the United States until about 1989. As a result, many people with TTM have gone for many years without adequate information about their condition, or appropriate treatment. Consequently, the one symptom that most people with TTM share is shame. What Treatments Are Available?Research into treatments for trichotillomania has grown steadily over the past decade. Although no one treatment has been found to be effective for everyone, a number of treatment options have shown promise for some people with TTM. TLC will make referrals to practitioners of any of the following therapies, at no charge.
Cognitive-Behavior TherapyCognitive-Behavioral Therapy is a form of therapy that seeks to alter behavior by identifying the precise factors that trigger hair pulling and learning skills to interrupt and redirect responses to those triggers. Cognitive-behavioral should be performed by a psychologist trained in this method and well versed in trichotillomania-something that may be easier said than done, as there is not an abundance of psychologists with this specialty. The therapist will encourage hair pullers to develop an increased awareness of the times of day, emotional states, and other factors that promote hair pulling, as an important precursor to being able to control the behavior. Some hair pullers have had success with simple behavioral devices such as putting bandages on their fingers to interfere with pulling, keeping records of their hair pulling, or changing environmental cues that can trigger pulling.
Pharmaceutical TherapyA number of medications have shown promise in reducing the severity of TTM symptoms. Most of these fall under the category of selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), the most commonly known of which is Prozac. The effectiveness of these drugs for hair pulling ranges considerably. A small percentage of people find these drugs to stop their hair pulling completely, while others feel no effect at all. Still other people have found the urges to pull their hair reduced somewhat, for varying periods of time. Researchers are studying the possible benefits of combining drugs with cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Support Groups & SharingMany hair pullers have discovered that the shame of being alone and hiding the condition can make it even harder to focus on strategies to reduce pulling. Joining a support group can go a long way toward erasing the shame and making people with TTM feel "normal" again. TLC maintains a database of support groups around the country for people with TTM, and referrals are free. TLC will also assist with the formation of new support groups. Some support groups are entirely peer-run; others are run by a mental health professional. Many groups feature a "check-in" time-a time for members to report on their progress-which can help reduce pulling.
Alternative TherapiesThere are anecdotal reports that several alternative therapies, including hypnosis, biofeedback, dietary changes, and exercise, among others, have been found helpful by many people.

"Nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name. Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man's number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six."—Revelation 13:17, 18.

FEW Bible topics have evoked as much interest and concern as the prophecy about the mysterious mark, or name, of "the wild beast"—the number 666. On television and the Internet, as well as in movies, books, and magazines, the mark of the beast has been the focus of endless speculation.

Some believe that 666 is the mark of the Biblical antichrist. Others say that it signifies some form of compulsory identification, such as a tattoo or an implanted microchip with a digital code that identifies the person as a servant of the beast. Still others hold that 666 is the mark of the Catholic papacy. Substituting Roman numerals for the letters in a form of the pope's official title, Vicarius Filii Dei (Vicar of the Son of God), and manipulating the figures a little, they come up with 666. It is also claimed that the same number can be calculated from the Latin name of Roman Emperor Diocletian and from the Hebrew version of the name Nero Caesar.*

These fanciful and contrived interpretations, however, are very different from what the Bible itself says about the mark of the beast, as we shall see in the following article. The Bible does reveal that those with the mark will experience God's wrath when he brings an end to the present system of things.(Revelation 14:9-11; 19:20) Understanding the meaning of 666, therefore, is much more than just solving an intriguing puzzle. Happily, Jehovah God, the very personification of love and the Source of spiritual light, has not kept his servants in the dark on this important matter.—2 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 1:5; 4:8.

SEATTLE (AP) — University of Washington researchers have found that prolonged exposure to low-level magnetic fields like those generated by hair dryers, coffee makers and electric blankets can damage brain-cell DNA.
A new study, to be published in the May edition of Environmental Health Perspectives, found that exposure to a 60-hertz field for 24 hours broke brain-cell DNA strands in rats, and exposure for 48 hours caused even more DNA damage.

Bioengineering professors Henry Lai and Narendra Singh also found that continued exposure makes cells self-destruct because they can't repair themselves — much like findings of a 1995 study conducted at 10 times the intensity for just two hours.

The UW study suggests the effects are cumulative, meaning duration can be as damaging as intensity.

"In real life, people get this exposure in brief doses — three minutes of exposure to a blow dryer, five minutes of exposure to an electric razor," Lai said. "We found that this could add up over time."

Lai and Singh aren't urging people to start drip-drying their hair or quit using electric alarm clocks.

They do say people need to be aware that low-level magnetic fields emitted by many electrical devices central to daily life could be harmful.

"People should do what they can to limit their exposure to as little as possible, especially in relation to electrical appliances that are used very close to the body," Lai said.

Traditionally, scientists have believed that low-level electronic fields could not be harmful because they weren't potent enough to break chemical bonds in cells.

The UW study doesn't completely debunk that theory. It suggests a more subtle mechanism is at work.

Lai and Singh hypothesize that rather than causing direct harm, low-level electromagnetic fields spike the amount of free iron within certain cells. That free iron then undergoes a chemical reaction that releases "free radicals" or charged atoms that attack cell structures, including DNA, lipids and proteins.

To test that theory, researchers gave some of the rats drugs that either neutralize free radicals or decrease free iron before exposing the animals to the magnetic field.

The experiment supported their hypothesis, showing that the drugs prevented brain-cell DNA damage.

Cells undergo wear and tear all the time, so DNA damage in and of itself isn't cause for alarm.

It becomes a concern when damage increases, because that increases the likelihood that a mistake will occur in the cellular repair process. That could result in a mutation, which in turn could cause diseases like cancer.

Some types of DNA damage are easily fixed, such as a break on one side of DNA's ladder-like double helix. Repairs become more difficult if both sides of the helix are broken, thus increasing the likelihood of mutation.

Both single- and double-strand breaks were found in the UW study.
